The Experience

Photography sessions in beautiful nature settings in southern Adelaide.

My specialty is in natural-light photography of dogs enjoying the great outdoors-- so it is fortunate that southern Adelaide has some stunning locations to choose from!

Sessions last between one and two hours, guided by the needs of your dog, and are kept relaxed as possible. As far as your dog is concerned, the session is a really fun romp outdoors, and it's this fun and relaxed approach that allows me to capture your dog at their happiest.

How it Works

Step 01

Getting comfortable

After receiving your session fee, I'll send you a questionnaire to help me get to know you and your dog/s a little better. Then, we'll work out a location that will let your dog shine-- and have a blast doing so!

Step 02

Being yourself and your tail-wagging friend

Your session will be either in the first hour after sunrise or in the last 1.5 hours before sunset. On the day of your session, bring your dog looking their best, with collars preferred to harnesses for ease of editing. Be sure to take along any favourite treats or toys! If you would like to be included in photographs with your dogs, I recommend wearing plain, neutral clothes, and avoiding whites and blacks.

Once you're there... relax and have fun! Your session will be very much like a normal walk with your dog, though I will give some direction to give you the best possible images.

Step 03

Editing your photos

The process of carefully developing and editing your photographs may take up to a week, but it will be worth the wait!

You can expect between 30 and 50 fully edited images to be prepared for you, ready for you to choose your favourites....

Step 04

Choosing memories to treasure

It's time for the moment you've been waiting for; the viewing of the finished gallery of images.

Watermarked low-resolution images will be shared with you; these can be shared on social media, but will not be suitable for printing.

Now comes the tricky part of choosing which images best capture your special memories with your dog! Whether you're after beautiful prints or wall art, there will be a high-quality product for you. You can also purchase the high-resolution files to save and print again and again.

The Investment

Basic Pricing

Session Fee: $150
This non-refundable fee is paid at booking, and covers my time and expenses for your 1.5-2 hour session, but does not include copies of images or printed products.

Prints, Products and Image Files

Your session fee becomes credit with which to purchase archival quality prints, stunning pieces of wall art, and keepsake albums that you will treasure forever. A minimum purchase of $500 is required, which is inclusive of your session fee.

Make your experience even simpler with a package deal; all packages are inclusive of the $150 session deposit, and vary depending on your aims for your dog's photo shoot. Do you travel north of the city for sessions?

While I am primarily based in southern Adelaide, I can come to a location north of the city for an additional $150 fee. Alternatively, I can suggest suitable locations that may be accessible to you a little further south.
My dog will need to stay on the lead, is this okay?

That is definitely okay! Many dogs I photograph have their sessions entirely on-lead, keeping them safe and comfortable. Part of my editing process is digitally removing leads (and often, collars as well) from the images. You'd never know the dog was on a lead!
Are extra humans invited to the shoot?

Of course! It is a great joy to capture the special relationship your family shares with its furry friend. Having several family members on hand can actually make the shoot even more fun for your dog, and make it easier to pose some shots. It's definitely a case of 'the more, the merrier'!
How many dogs can be in the session?

My basic session fee covers up to two dogs. That said, one can never be around too many dogs! Additional dogs will cost $50 each to be included in the session.
